The selection of Target Markets was based on a set of pre-defined and clearly identified strategic prerequisites.

The revision of Target Markets happens every two years.

Currently the Target Markets are:

PALOP (Portuguese-Speaking African Countries)/CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries)
Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea, Mozambique, S. Tomé and Príncipe, Brazil, and East Timor

Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia

Latin America
Colombia, Bolivia, Argentina
