LIPOR took part in the session "Climate and Energy Transition in Portugal"
LIPOR took part in the session organised by ADENE - Energy Agency and KEA - Korea Energy Agency at the World Climate Industry EXPO (2024 WCE), held from 4 to 6 September in Busan, South Korea.
The ‘Climate and Energy Transition in Portugal’ session, which took place on 4 September 2024, included the participation and presentation of Portuguese companies and was an opportunity to present projects, services and products with the aim of exploring potential partnerships with Korean entities.
LIPOR's participation essentially focused on its ongoing Energy Projects, namely:
The Maia Energy Recovery Plant as an important component of LIPOR's Integrated Waste Management System,

- Photovoltaic Parks,
- The Renewable Energy Community to share the electricity produced,
- Carbon capture at CVE, a boost for decarbonisation and the production of aviation fuel.
As part of its internationalisation strategy, LIPOR, through specialised technical assistance and consultancy, designs, develops and participates in international projects, and its portfolio already includes projects in 29 countries!
The World Climate Industry EXPO (2024 WCE) will be held from 4 to 6 September in Busan, Republic of Korea. The 2024 WCE is a showcase for the latest technologies and policies in the climate and energy sectors, with the aim of providing answers to the challenges of the global climate crisis and energy security.
